The fees on top of the plan price

Kajabi takes no revenue share as a platform. You do pay payment processing on each sale, and the rate depends on your plan and how you take payments.

BasicGrowthPro
Kajabi Payments card fee (US entities)2.9% + $0.302.8% + $0.302.7% + $0.30
Extra fee if you use a third-party payment provider2%1%0.5%

The third-party fee applies in regions where Kajabi Payments is available but you choose another processor. Kajabi says it excludes PayPal, and that the provider's own fees apply on top. Card rates differ by country.

Add-ons that raise the bill

  • More contacts: extra contacts are sold in blocks of 25,000 for $125 a month.
  • More AI credits: 500 extra credits cost $15 a month.
  • Your own app: Kajabi recommends the Pro plan if you want your own app in the app stores.

Which Kajabi plan fits which business

Kajabi's own guidance is a fair summary:

  • Basic suits someone who has not sold much yet and has one or two products. The 2,500-contact limit is the ceiling most people hit first.
  • Growth suits a business with revenue coming in and a list past a few thousand people. It is also where the third-party payment fee drops to 1%.
  • Pro suits people running more than one brand, or who want their own app in the app stores.

Every plan includes a free trial, and Kajabi offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Is Kajabi worth the price?

Kajabi is an all-in-one business platform for creators. The monthly price covers the course area, website, email marketing, funnels, landing pages, community and checkout. If you would otherwise pay separately for an email tool, a website builder and a course host, Kajabi can work out cheaper overall, which is the argument Kajabi makes on its own pricing page.

It is less good value if you mainly need to teach: live classes for batches, attendance, structured tests and mock exams, or training records for a team. Those are not what Kajabi is built around.

What Kajabi costs at three business sizes

Plan prices below use annual billing. Card processing on each sale is extra and depends on your country and payment method.

BusinessNeedsPlanYearly platform cost
Starting outUp to 5 products, under 2,500 contactsBasic$1,716
Growing20 products, 10,000 contactsGrowth$2,388
Growing, bigger list20 products, 30,000 contactsGrowth + one 25,000-contact block$3,888
Several brands3 websites, 60,000 contacts, own appPro$4,788

The third row is the one to watch. Growth includes 25,000 contacts, so a list of 30,000 needs one extra block at $125 a month, adding $1,500 a year. That still costs less than Pro, but only moving to Pro adds the extra websites, communities and admin seats. Model your contact list a year ahead, because it is usually the number that pushes Kajabi customers up a tier.
