A white label LMS that looks like you built it
Your domain, your Android and iOS apps, your checkout and your learner list. Run courses and training under your own name, with no platform branding and no share of your revenue.
Everything a learner sees is yours
What is a white label LMS?
A white label LMS is a learning management system that you run under your own brand. The software, hosting and updates come from the vendor, but your learners see your name, your domain, your apps and your checkout. Nothing on screen tells them which platform sits underneath.
The term covers a wide range of products. Some vendors only let you upload a logo and change a colour, while the login page, emails, app and footer still carry their name. A full white label LMS rebrands every surface a learner touches, which is what makes the difference in how students, parents and corporate clients see your business.
What actually gets rebranded
When you compare platforms, check each of these surfaces rather than taking "white label" at face value. A single leftover "Powered by" link or a vendor-named app is often what a buyer notices first.
Web academy and login
Your course catalogue, course landing pages, sign-up and login screens should sit on your own domain or subdomain, with your logo and colours. On AcadifyLab, website and course landing pages are included on every plan, and your own domain or subdomain is available from the second plan up.
Mobile apps
This is where products differ most. Some platforms put your logo inside their own shared app. Others publish an app with your name, but under the vendor's developer account. A true white-label app is published on Google Play and the App Store under your name, so learners search for you, download you and see you on their home screen. We explain what to check in what a true white-label app includes.
Emails, notifications and certificates
Enrolment emails, class reminders, in-app and WhatsApp notifications, and completion certificates all carry a sender name and a design. Each one should read as coming from you.
Checkout and money
Payments should land with you, at prices you set. Watch for platforms that take a percentage of each sale on top of the subscription. AcadifyLab charges for the platform only, so what learners pay for a course is yours.
The last trace of the vendor
On AcadifyLab's higher plans, platform branding is removed everywhere and the academy can be embedded into the website you already run. The plan comparison lists exactly which of these each plan includes.
Who uses a white label LMS
- Training companies that deliver programmes to corporate clients and want every client to see the training company's brand, not a software vendor's.
- Course creators and independent trainers who have outgrown marketplaces and want to own the learner relationship and the revenue. See AcadifyLab for trainers.
- Coaching institutes and academies running batches, live classes and tests, where a branded app builds trust with students and parents. See AcadifyLab for coaching institutes.
- Businesses training employees, partners or customers who want the portal to look like part of their own product. See AcadifyLab for training enterprises.
- Agencies, franchises and resellers that run separate academies for several clients or branches from one account. AcadifyLab supports separate branches, franchises or client organisations on higher plans.
- Custom LMS development
- Mobile app
- LMS for training companies
- LMS for coaches
White label LMS vs marketplace vs custom build
There are three common ways to put courses online. Each suits a different stage, and a white label LMS is the middle path.
| Course marketplace | White label LMS | Custom-built LMS | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whose brand learners see | The marketplace's | Yours | Yours |
| Who owns the learner list | Mostly the marketplace | You | You |
| Revenue share | Common | None on AcadifyLab | None |
| Brings its own audience | Yes | No, you bring learners | No |
| Build and maintenance effort | None | None, the vendor maintains it | High and ongoing |
| Time to launch | Fast | Fast | Slow |
| Best for | Testing demand | Building a lasting brand | Very specific needs with a dev team |
If you need features no platform offers, a custom build is not the only route. AcadifyLab's top plan includes custom service commitments and development work on top of the white label platform. For a deeper comparison, read white-label LMS vs course marketplace.

Questions to ask any white label LMS vendor
- Is the mobile app published under my name and my developer account, or yours?
- Can every trace of your brand be removed, including emails, login pages and the footer?
- Can I use my own domain, and can I embed the academy into my existing website?
- Do you take a percentage of my course sales on top of the subscription?
- Can I export my learner list and data if I ever leave?
- Can I run separate academies for different clients, branches or brands?
- Which of these are included on the plan I am buying, not just the top plan?

Getting started
Every plan starts with a free trial and no setup fee. Set up your branding, publish one course and look at it on a phone the way a learner would. If you would rather see it first, book a demo and we will walk you through a branded academy.
White label LMS questions
What does white label LMS mean?
It is a learning management system you run under your own brand. The vendor provides and maintains the software, while your learners see your name, domain, apps and checkout instead of the vendor's.
Are AcadifyLab's mobile apps really published under my name?
On higher plans, yes. Your Android and iOS apps are published under your own brand on Google Play and the App Store. Lower plans use a shared app, with your own branding on it from the second plan up.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Your own domain or subdomain is available from the second plan up, and higher plans can also embed the academy into the website you already run.
Can I remove all AcadifyLab branding?
Yes, on higher plans AcadifyLab branding is removed everywhere, so learners see only your brand.
Do you take a share of my course revenue?
No. AcadifyLab charges a flat plan price for the platform. What learners pay for your courses is yours.
Can I run academies for several clients or branches?
Yes. Higher plans support separate branches, franchises or client organisations, so agencies, training companies and multi-branch institutes can manage each one from a single account.
