Virtual classroom software that runs the whole class, not just the call
Schedule live classes on Zoom or Google Meet, track attendance, publish recordings and keep materials, tests and follow-ups in one digital classroom your learners open from their phone.
Before, during and after the session
What is virtual classroom software?
Virtual classroom software recreates a physical classroom online. It combines live video lessons with the things that happen around a class: timetables, attendance, study material, homework, tests and a way for learners to catch up on sessions they missed.
A video-call app alone is not a virtual classroom. Zoom or Google Meet handle the call well, but they do not know which batch a learner belongs to, whether they attended last week, what homework is due or how they scored in the last test. That is the gap virtual classroom software fills.
Virtual classroom vs video-call app
| Video-call app alone | Virtual classroom on an LMS | |
|---|---|---|
| Live video lesson | Yes | Yes, through Zoom or Google Meet |
| Class timetable by batch | Manual, in calendars and messages | Built in |
| Attendance record | Manual | Tied to each learner and batch |
| Recordings for absent learners | Shared as links by hand | Published inside the course |
| Notes, homework and tests | Separate tools | In the same place as the class |
| Progress and results | Not available | Reported per learner and batch |
| Fees and enrolment | Separate tools | Built in |
AcadifyLab deliberately uses Zoom and Google Meet for the video itself, because your teachers and learners already know them. Everything around the call is handled by the LMS.
What a digital classroom needs
Timetables that match real batches
Most academies run several batches of the same course at different times. Classes, reminders and attendance should follow the batch, not a single shared calendar. Higher plans on AcadifyLab add advance scheduling and parallel sessions. See batch management for how this works in practice.
Attendance you do not have to take by hand
Attendance tied to each live class shows who is drifting away before they drop out. On AcadifyLab, attendance is marked automatically on every plan.
Recordings for catch-up and revision
Learners miss classes. Publishing the recording inside the course keeps them on track and turns each session into revision material. Recordings can be published back to learners on higher plans.
Learning between classes
The live session is only part of the learning. Notes, recorded lessons, quizzes and assignments should sit next to the class, so learners know what to do before the next one. Our guide to live, recorded and blended learning explains how to balance them.
Hybrid classrooms
Many institutes teach some batches in person and some online, or stream a physical class to remote learners. The same timetable, attendance and tests should cover both. We cover this in running a hybrid coaching institute.
Running a good online class
- Share material before the session so class time goes on questions and practice, not dictation.
- Keep the camera on the work. A shared screen or writing tablet beats a talking head for most subjects.
- Check understanding every ten to fifteen minutes with a quick poll or question.
- End with a task, such as a short quiz or assignment, so learning continues after the call.
- Follow up on absentees using the attendance record, and point them to the recording.

Getting started
Every plan starts with a free trial and no setup fee. Create a batch, schedule one live class, invite a few learners and open it on a phone the way they will.
Virtual classroom questions
Does AcadifyLab have its own video tool?
No. Live classes run through Zoom and Google Meet, which teachers and learners already know. AcadifyLab handles scheduling, attendance, recordings, materials and tests around them.
Is attendance tracked automatically?
Yes. On every plan, attendance for live classes is marked automatically against each learner and batch.
Can learners watch recordings of missed classes?
Yes. On higher plans, recordings of live classes can be published back to learners inside the course.
Can I run several batches at the same time?
Yes. Classes are scheduled per batch, and higher plans support advance scheduling and parallel sessions.
Can learners join from their phones?
